Tullamarine

For this contemporary office refurbishment in the outer Melbourne suburb of Tullamarine, we stripped back the existing interiors and installed new, high performance windows to create a new front façade. The space features a simple, sleek, and modern composition by Layan Design Group, with the central point being an organic communal table, built in white concrete.

Common Galaxia

Common Galaxia

Seddon

Common Galaxia was the first of three projects built by Fido Projects in close collaboration with owners Luke Mutton & Kylie Mackinlay. A café & restaurant fitout in a Small Giants’ development in the hip inner western suburb of Seddon built over 6 weeks, there was a strong focus on coffee & food & the beauty of raw concrete & brickwork, US Oak joinery & wall cladding, acoustic ply ceilings, with CPR Plumbing Solutions providing bespoke copper pipework. Lighting & furniture was delivered by Luke & Kylie’s other close collaborator, Justin Lamont of LifeSpaceJourney. Luke & Kylie have since moved onto bigger & better ventures at Sun Moth Canteen & Bar in Niagara Lane in the city.

alice McCall – Emporium

Emporium, CBD

Our relationship with Studio Wonder and Australian designer Alice McCall led to our third consecutive project together—this time for a store inside Melbourne retail destination, Emporium. Responding to the evolution of the Alice McCall brand over the years, the space is graphic and minimal in nature, with our works involving custom brass racking, marble floors and marble point of sale, mirrored walls, and a frameless glass and ornate brass shop front.
